PRODUCT REVIEW!!
Hello beautiful people π, so this is our first product reviewππΌππΌ.
We received two products from chocolate petal which are the new improved black
soap bubble up shampoo and Whipped Shea butter.
So we are
giving y'all two different perspectives, perks of having two people running the
blogππ and besides we have two different hair textures, soo yayy!
From
Augusta's point of view;
The
consistency is not too thick and not too watery just the right texture.
After a
couple of wash days, I observed that my hair wasn't as dry and frizzy as it
would be after rinsing it off.
Oh yesss,
the peppermint helps with dandruff as well, so I really like it.
On to the
whipped Shea butter;
It's
ingredients are raw shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E oil, lavender oil,
lemon grass oil, rosehip oil and tea tree oil. Once again, texture for me is everything. It's light and not so thick which is very good for my LOC (liquid, oil and cream) method to seal my hair after my wash.
Another thing I like about the product is the smell, I'm not really a fan of the smell that comes with raw shea butter so I always avoid it but this is whipped with lavender and vitamin E oils which gets the natural shea butter smell out and I love that π

On to
Sandra's view;
I'll start
off with the black soap shampoo, this product was re-branded recently to black
soap bubble up shampoo. I was kinda hoping it would lather really easily but
that wasn't the case. I had to use a lot on my hair. It could be because I
didn't pre poo or for whatever reason but it didn't.
One thing
I really love is that there's peppermint oil in it, it leaves your scalp so
clean after use and it just gives a nice feel all together after rinsing.
Moving on
to the whipped Shea butter :
It's so
soft permit me to compare it with ice cream and it smells divine.
I used it to lock in moisture after my wash
day and after unravelling the twists, I could see I had soft curls ππ from using
the whipped Shea butter on my strands alone
Guess who
used it again for her two strand twists protective style? Me π
Would we
recommend these products to you ? Definitely yes! Apart from the fact that it's
affordable, the ingredients in each of the products make the hair feel so rich
and we can boldly say this for any hair type.
So yes
queens, get yourselves the new bubble up shampoo and some whipped shea butter
goodness.
